My mailer is Mahogany, an OpenSource cross-platform mail and news client. It is available for X11/Unix and MS Win32 platforms, supporting a wide range of protocols and standards, including SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NNTP (including SSL support for all of them) and full MIME support.
CPP2RTF is a small console programs that I wrote to build listings of C++ source code into RTF format, so that they can be printed with highlighting on a B&W printer. More on this program on http://cpp2rtf.free.fr.
